1. Summary

IQ Test: Quick Estimate (the “App”) is an offline-first Android app. It
does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable
information from users on our servers. We have no accounts, no
sign-up, and no backend.

2. Data we never collect

  • Your name, email, phone number, or any contact data.
  • Photos, contacts, location, microphone, or camera.
  • Your quiz answers or estimated IQ score — these stay on your device.

3. Data stored only on your device

The App uses Android’s standard local storage to save:

  • Your past quiz results (IQ estimate, classification, per-category sub-scores).
  • Your language preference.
  • Your in-app purchase entitlements (so we know which features to unlock).
  • A flag indicating you completed the onboarding disclaimer.

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the App removes it.

4. Third-party services

The App uses two Google-owned services. They are governed by Google’s own
privacy policies.

4.1 Google AdMob (advertising)

The App shows banner, interstitial, app-open, and rewarded ads via
Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (Advertising ID,
IP, generic device info) to serve ads. You can opt out of ad
personalisation:

  • In the App: Settings → Privacy options (shown in regions
    where consent is required, e.g., EEA / UK / Switzerland / Brazil).
  • On Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

You can buy the removeads in-app product to remove all ads
entirely.

4.2 Google Play Billing (purchases)

When you make an in-app purchase, Google Play Billing handles payment,
receipt validation, and entitlement state. We never see your card details.
The App only receives a yes/no confirmation that a product was purchased
and stores that locally so the feature stays unlocked.

5. Children

The App is rated for ages 13+ and is not directed at children under 13.

6. Disclaimer (not a clinical assessment)

The IQ estimate produced by the App is for entertainment and self-curiosity
only. It is not a clinical, medical, educational-placement,
or professional assessment. A real IQ score requires proctored,
standardised testing administered by a qualified psychologist.

7. Your rights

Because the App stores nothing about you on our servers, there is nothing
on our side to access, export, or delete. Local data can be removed by
clearing the App’s storage (Android Settings → Apps → IQ Test → Storage →
Clear data) or by uninstalling.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above and bump the App
version. Material changes will also be mentioned in the Play Store
“What’s new” notes for that release.
