Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how NAX Tech (“we”, “us”) handles
information when you use the mobile application
Attachment Style Test Quiz (Android package
com.nax.attachment_style, the “App”). It applies only to this
App, not to any other product or website operated by NAX Tech.

The short version. The quiz itself runs entirely on your
phone — your answers, your past results and your language choice are stored
only on your device and never sent to us. The App does serve ads through
Google AdMob and processes purchases through Google Play; both of those use
your device’s advertising and billing identifiers, not your name or email.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email,
date of birth, photos, contacts, location, microphone or camera. The quiz
questions you answer are scored locally on your device and the answers
themselves are never transmitted off your device.

Information stored only on your device

  • Your selected interface language.
  • Whether you have completed the introduction screens.
  • Your past quiz results (date, dominant attachment style, score per
style) — limited to your most recent 50 results.
  • Whether you have purchased the “remove ads” in-app purchase.

These records live in Android’s standard
SharedPreferences
storage, scoped to the App. You can wipe them at any time from
Settings → Clear history inside the App, by uninstalling the
App, or by clearing its data from Android’s system settings.

Information processed by third parties

When the App shows ads or processes purchases, the corresponding Google SDK
collects information about your device. This collection is governed by the
third party’s own privacy policy, not by us:

  • Google AdMob — serves the four ad formats listed
below. AdMob may access your Android Advertising ID, approximate location
derived from your IP address, device and operating system information,
interaction events with the ad, and diagnostic data needed to deliver and
    measure ads. See the
    Google
Privacy & Terms — Partner Services
    page.
  • Google Play Billing — processes the optional
in-app purchases described below and tells the App which entitlements you
own. Payment information is handled by Google, not by us. See the
    Google Privacy Policy.

2. Advertising

The App is monetised by Google AdMob. We currently use the following ad
formats:

Format Where it appears
Banner Above the navigation bar on Home, History and Settings.
Interstitial After you finish the quiz and close the result screen, or when you choose to retake the quiz.
App Open When you bring the App back to the foreground after using another app.
Rewarded Interstitial Optional — only if you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-app reward.

Ads may be personalised based on the Advertising ID and other signals
collected by Google. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, and opt
out of personalised ads, from your Android Settings → Privacy
→ Ads
menu.

If you purchase the Remove ads in-app product, the App
stops requesting and showing all four ad formats listed above.

3. In-app purchases

Purchases are billed and delivered by Google Play Billing.
We do not see your payment details. We only receive a signal from Google
that your account owns the product you bought, which we record on your
device so that the App can unlock the corresponding feature. Refunds and
payment disputes are handled through your Google Play account.

4. How we use information

Because the App does not transmit personal information to our own servers,
we do not use any personal information directly. The on-device records
described in section 1 are used only to:

  • Present the App in your selected language.
  • Skip the introduction once you have completed it.
  • Show your previous quiz results in the History tab.
  • Hide ads if you have purchased the Remove ads product.

Information collected by Google AdMob and Google Play Billing is used by
Google for the purposes described in their own policies linked above.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share data with any
party other than the Google services described in section 1. We may
disclose information if we are legally required to do so by a competent
authority — but in practice we have no personal information about you to
share.

6. Children

The App is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children under that age. The App is not
designed for children and is not enrolled in Google’s Designed for Families
programme. If you believe a child has used the App, you can wipe all
on-device data via the steps in section 1.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Clear your local data — open the App and tap
Settings → Clear history, or uninstall the App, or clear
its data via Android system settings.
  • Reset or delete your Advertising ID — Android
    Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • Stop seeing ads from this App — purchase the Remove
ads in-app product, or uninstall the App.
  • EEA / UK / Brazil / California residents — to the
extent any law applies (GDPR, UK GDPR, LGPD, CCPA/CPRA), you may have
rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to
processing. Because we do not collect personal data on our own servers,
we have no records to retrieve or delete; for data processed by Google,
please use the controls in your Google account.

8. Data retention

We keep no personal data. On-device records remain on your device until
you clear them or uninstall the App. Records held by Google as part of
AdMob or Play Billing are retained according to Google’s own policies.

9. Security

All on-device data is held in the App’s private storage area, isolated by
Android from other apps. Network traffic between the Google SDKs and
Google’s servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS). No system is ever
perfectly secure, but because no personal data leaves your device through
the App itself, the surface area is small.

10. International transfers

Google may transfer the data it collects (Advertising ID, IP-derived
location, etc.) to servers located outside your country, including the
United States. By using the App you consent to such transfers as
performed by Google under its own contractual safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we change
the SDKs we use or add new ad formats. The latest version will always live
at naxtech.co/privacy/attachment-style
with an updated effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of
the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

12. Contact

Questions, complaints or data requests can be sent to
[email protected].
